Why do nerds keep trying to make new old console emulators like your 10 year old laptop can't already emulate everything up to the N64?

Some newer stuff can be emulated too, its more that N64 games are coded in the incoherent wails of the stillborne rather than a stable standardized engine.

You're not going to find that somewhere else! The reality is- Josh Topolsky: the new PlayStation 4 controller has a touchpad... J.Urhman: ... J.Urhman: Thats true. They could build it for that. J.Topolsk: soooo... Fact of the matter is that she was never there to be interviewed at SXSW. She was only there to make a marketing pitch and did not expect to actually answer pertinent questions without the kiddie gloves that everyone else has been wearing. On being asked what Ouyas's killer game would be: J.Urhman: Stalagfiiiight??????

I swear at some point in the Jesus game Jesus starts telling you to unlock your chakras so you can use the force but as the Gospel of Luke tells us: with great power comes great responsibility. I'm pretty sure MDickie is some kind of evangelical Christian so I don't know if this is just something he personally believes in or if he's just having fun.

My favorite part of the fiasco was that whole "free the games" campaign which led to several outright scams. That game with the fake backers and that football game which looked like shite and the guy in charge was suing people who spoke out against it. Even in this thread there was someone shilling for the game against all common sense!

The chakra system is actually implemented in the game and you can mediate and then set people on fire and stuff with hadokens. Its really loving obtuse control wise and takes forever to unlock so almost nobody actually gets to that part.

It's an Android device with cartridge slots bolted onto it. It dumps the ROM to the memory from the cart and then emulates the game. Even if it's an interesting idea, it's way too expensive.

You also might as well just download the rom and emulator and use a USB controller on your computer. It's cheaper and basically the same thing. Wasn't it the retron where they just copied the most popular emulators into the console and not give payment or credit to the makers?
