I stayed up until 5am reading this thread without noticing. I just want to die now. Seriously though JosephWongKS your commentary was goddamn hilarious and all the extra fanfiction and especially the readings were fantastic. A Good Thread.

It'd be more like having human feet on the bottom of your chair. Wouldn't Amusement Park Between have kions anyway, from carousels? Do things like the pogo rides in parks go to APB when they "die?" There, I have already put more thought into this than she has.

I was both too ill to do much else due to impaired walking ability and an ordinary common cold today, so for some reason I read more of this stupid book aloud way after the fact. This covers Chapters 19-22. In order to assist myself in not dying from this book I placed some random Japanese trance-pop and a few Space Jam remixes in the background, I hope y'all don't mind.

Oh, hey. I went to art school with Miranda. She tried selling this book to anyone who would give her the time of day. I never knew anyone who actually bought and/or read it though. I felt a little bad for her, honestly. She was kind of a joke around campus and always looked really lonely. EDIT: I had a whole writeup here about my experiences with her but decided it might not be appropriate to discuss her in such detail on an internet forum. I might be willing to field a few small questions if anyone's interested, depending on the subject matter. Esroc fucked around with this message at 11:11 on Jan 9, 2014 |

Esroc posted:I might be willing to field a few small questions if anyone's interested, depending on the subject matter. Yeah - be very careful, it could get really creepy really fast. I'm sorry to hear that Miranda looked lonely - it's one thing to make fun of someone who is happy, arrogant, and oblivious, but it's kinda sad if she's having a bad time of things in general. Anyway - I have what I hope is a not-creepy question, given the line about Rodney's liking roller coasters despite never having been on one, has Miranda (to your knowledge) ever actually ridden a roller-coaster?

I think you shouldn't say anything, this thread already got too close to getting creepy a couple of times, and giving us info about Miranda is not going to help.

Its sad that you thought she looker lonely, nobody needs to be lonely. I have a question. The main problem with her art, other than the rollercoasters, is perspective. She can definitly draw. Since you went to the same school, do you also have problems with perspective?

attackbunny posted:Twisted! is published by AuthorHouse. Looking at their price packages, it must have cost at least $949 dollars to publish as a paper copy, because it comes with illustrations. (which were worth every cent.) And another $349 or so for the ebook. I think the senior Leeks did a lot more than 'let her publish it'. Because AuthorHouse is a scam (read http://authorhouse-publishing-scam.blogspot.com/2011/01/authorhouse-is-actively-committing.html for more details). It shouldn't cost you anything to get a book legitimately published, except for the postage and supplies (computer, pen, printer, notebook, and paper), but seeing Miranda'a mastery at writing a novel, she probably doesn't know how to legitimately get published either. To that, I say, "Good. Less competition for the rest of us. I hope she goes bankrupt trying to push that waste of trees."
