Not quite. Fascism, boiled down, is "state as hero". Now, common elements definitely include a severe "us v. them" mentality and a war against "the enemy within" (lol undesirables). The slice of the Tea Party represented by TPC strikes me as a group that would easily idolize a state as long as they approved of it. I could very easily see one of those proposed Libertarian fortress towns becoming its own fascist entity. In short, TPC isn't fascist because it lacks the all-important government entity and leader to rally around, but that's really the only thing separating it from fascism.

I think someone brought up soliciting donations for unstated reasons could be fraud, but could it be a way to cause an amusing failure cascade in the community? I know I could live quite comfortably on 3-4 grand a month just to play into a buncha neurotic loony toon paranoid delusions.

Interestingly (but unsurprisingly), it shows Obama and Romney as basically the same person.



Obama is just a little lower because he's advocated for the rights of immigrants and homosexuals, but even then doesn't take a hard stance on it. And in spite of that he's still well on the authoritarian side of the spectrum because of things like the NDAA and TSA. I ended up at -9, -6.67.

We are not being paid. We really are just a bunch of people who enjoy pointing out stupidity. There is no conspiracy, we are not doing this to earn money, we are not doing this to earn $oro$buck$. We really are just a bunch of tourists pointing and laughing at you apes flinging your poo at the walls and hooting in a territorial manner. Its a comedy site, not a government coverup, not something Obama is funding, we are not politically motivated.

Believe it or not, and I know you won't, people on the opposite side of you are not evil, they have differing beliefs. They are not trying to destroy your country, they are supporting what they believe is *best* for the country. I was a conservative as a kid because my parents were, but even then at that age I realized that I shouldn't hate people with different opinions. They just believed differently from me. They didn't want to hurt anyone, they just wanted to do what they felt was best for their country, and I couldn't fault them for that.

There, my one stupid and likely useless attempt to say 'We aren't the monsters you think we are' and now you'll just act like we're all dicks anyway, doesn't matter what anyone says.
