I gotta say, I'm liking Double Cross's power selection more than, say, what's available in various World of Darkness games. Syndromes feel like they're something similar to X-Men meets Shin Megami Tensei. You're not locked into one particular path for your Syndromes as opposed to Tremere Thaumaturgy paths, as far as I can tell, so it looks like you can get a pretty broad selection of powers. This may be me being bitter because we have one guy who runs Vampire in our group and he won't let any Tremere have Lure of Flames.
