The NPB record is 55 in one season, infamously held by Oh. It seems like there's a good chance it may be broken, especially as Balentien missed the first 12 games.

Mind you, it'll still be controversial if he does break it, due to the new standard ball.

Sure, but...Randy Bass isn't the only white player to face the Randy Bass Treatment. Though I think the others (Alex Cabrera and whoever else) also faced Oh. But maybe, then, it's not a coincidence :tinfoil:
