Brazilian Jiu-Jitsu: sometimes passing just isn't an option.
I'm very excited for WCW Mayhem because it's the only WCW PPV I ever purchased but I think it's largely a forgotten show.

Don't worry if you missed it, it's as abrupt as the clip makes it look. Heel Sting is all about the hit and run.

This is the best Russo-booked WCW PPV. It all gets worse from here.

I didn't get home in time to catch this, but I hope you had the original tape and not the WWE network version where a bunch of the themes are dubbed over.

We had the originals.

Congratulations, Vince Russo. You managed to take Chris Benoit and Bret Hart fighting for the WCW World Heavyweight Championship in Toronto, and make it boring.

The finish was cool at least, when they were both scrambling for their finishers and Bret got the upper hand, but it wasn't as good as the Owen Hart Memorial one where Benoit was struggling to drag Bret down for the crossface, then Bret double legs Benoit and passes to half-guard :aaa: before locking in the sharpshooter.

The best one was the Luger run-in during the Hart/Sting semifinal. It kind of ruins a cool finish - Hart elbowing Sting's injured leg to get out of the scorpion deathlock. Should've just had a regular match where Hart targeted the leg and then did the same finish.

At this point in WCW, Jericho is gone, Eddie is gone, Malenko is gone, Rey is injured, so your only option outside of the luchadors is like uh, 3 Count, Chavo, or Disco.

Always bet on The Juice.

The thread should end, somehow, with the Raw and Nitro simulcast. Including having both episodes queued up to run at the same time.

They should have just given Storm the world title.

Canada is the best country in the world, therefore the Canadian Title is better than a world title.
