Maybe they were never good people we were all just too young to notice. That’s basically me, I started listening when he was on the radio and he was part of my commute (at like 19). Then I was introduced to podcasts through his switch to the medium. Then I went to one of his live shows and it was all a bunch of older white people and there was a lot of cheering when he was ranting about immigrants... I felt dumb and realized I just didn’t want to believe he meant what he was saying, I’ve had to learn that lesson a lot in life.
