In theory we have the knowledge to craft a soul boat out of live demons.

To be fair, I’m pretty sure one of the times they intervened and wouldn’t tell us why - the time they were hiding something written on our well - the thing they were hiding was how much worship we were getting. If so then showing us that really could have been disastrous, if for no other reason than that we might then be expected to cut off all our [???] gain to make the number go down.

That feels really unlikely, but I have zero evidence to say one way or the other. Personally I think it was something that would have had an effect like Bagar's death did. After watching him die we learned something, maybe, and now we get face spiders around the south-born. I don't feel like a worship meter would have that sort of impact, but who knows. I wanted to keep the info. I need data.

My theory is that they erased the mention of enkidel's divine email account because his inbox has a century worth of unread mail. The sort of thing that's interesting and potentially useful but the cost in being brighter might not be worth it if we knew.

It was probably a more spelled out “you are maintaining many effects” list that would have hosed us up mentally. like knowing you’re keeping certain people young and alive through force of will. being aware of that would probably result in it taking more juice to maintain or just fill us with doubt or something

Yeah it’s one thing to have a vague idea that you might be doing this and another to have a specific list of each individual and how much you’re slowing them down. Or that you’re making X crops grow better and are building ore veins in Y places.

We have a count of questions 1 to 4, but not #5 and #6, which are the "vote up" and "vote down" list. We are going to start working on the main update but its going to take a bit, if someone volunteers to count 5 and 6 it would be very much appreciated. If you can still see this message then we probably don't have a volunteer because I will edit it to reflect that if/when we do. Thank you very much in advance, and thanks against to Lanky Coconut Tree for counting the #1 through #4. Edit: Patrick Spens is obviously Blooded indeed and a Mighty Man(the Kavodel kind, obviously) for counting! Diogines fucked around with this message at 03:27 on Sep 26, 2020 |

We already know we can straight up mind control people. To what degree of control and to what degree of bloodedness we'll never know since that sort of thing will get us black bagged. If we straight up abandon Ur and high tail it to the other side of the world as far away from El Territory as possible, maybe that's a different story. Unfortunately it would almost certainly be terminally interrupted by us being targeted by hostile spirits, demons, monsters, gods and maybe even we go mad and of ourself as Ormybro offered. The Inquisitorc probably dips into this sort of violation of our boundaries and would at the very least get us severely yelled at by just about everyone. Maybe Uriah thinks it's hilarious and Dad OKs it for ZeroDarkThirty-ing more bnaimokt. I was watching Supernatural with the wife and tiny man earlier today and the "Demon-Trap-In-A-Bullet" trick seems like something we could finagle. Maybe an arrow that causes its target to cease all movement until removed. Shoot one of those into a charging behemoth, maybe it pancakes itself. Maybe we make one that causes the target to immediately experience a complete inertia reversal. Charging behemoth go backwards. I wonder if it's possible to imbue a blade with the capacity to repel all other matter. As in, whereas a normal metallic blade wedges or saws its way into or through other material, this type of blade appears to be surrounded by a field where absolutely nothing can touch it. It's as if it is not only completely frictionless but actively forces material away. This is probably the sort of thing that the Ninhursag rep was offering us for the fissile material.

Two days from the Jubilee, Ishamal saunters into Kavodel and catches Enkidel hard at work selling justice in his usual spot. "Much luck corrupting the youth?" he asks with a laugh. "Oh, you know how it goes.." Enkidel muses, "sometimes you get a man interested in boating, sometimes you deliberate over who's truly responsible for a pool of vomit. What brings you here, Old Man?" "You never did manage to regulate what comes out of your own mouth," he mutters. "Nevertheless... Zepath is safe. You are relatively unwatched. With the the temple finished, Kavodel has greater protection, O Servant of El!" Ishamal briefly rolls his eyes before continuing, "If you don't have anything pressing to attend to, I was wondering if I could get a few days of your time?" Enkidel pauses for just a moment, "I guess so. What do you.." ... ... "...need?" The sun is different in the sky. It hasn't quite reached its zenith despite the day being late in the evening moments before. Come to think of it, the people in the distance are different than they were a moment ago, too! Brief flashes of battle begin to appear, but quickly fade into fog like a distant dream. A hand grasps Enkidel's shoulder. "You did well, Enkidel. Thank you for your time." With that, Ishamal wanders off. A Terrible Person fucked around with this message at 14:43 on Sep 27, 2020 |

I'm imagining Enkidel wielding an enormous poleaxe-styled spear with an elaborate blade that arcs electricity from its multiple points, sweeping it through the front line of an army of minotaur after a wind-up flourish (in slow motion, of course), and the minotaur bursting open in fountains of gore rather than being cut before the blade even hits.

Last Jubilee we got lucky. If we'd gone charging in headfirst before the big fart we'd have gotten killed and taken all of Zepath's most blooded with us. Our enemies know that we're strong and getting stronger all of the time, so it's not likely that they'll set a trap that we can punch our way out of. I guess the advice that I would give would be to pick a direction and commit. Either whatever we go after is worth all of our force and strength or none of it. We've only ever gotten in trouble when we've divided our attention.

To be fair, the Banimokt really just turned into bits of jagged metal and chunky red salsa. The bones noped off and turned into powder. I like the +10 Colassal Vorpal Thundering Halberd idea. Let's do that.

You are Ftarghl Spawn of Asherah. Well, not directly. But you were spawned in the ocean, and the ocean belongs to Asherah, so who is to argue your heritage? You've seen many battles. From the back-lines, mostly. Your kind are mostly fodder, waves of endless chaff to keep the bigger humans busy whilst the bigger fish do bigger, fishier things. You were never meant for anything more, but somehow you survived. You had a knack for it. They sent you to Kirton, and you were there when the walls fell and the gate exploded with their King. But eventually the fighting stopped and you grew weary. What are they waiting for? Years have passed since Kirton was taken. By now, all the humans have been bled and squashed. The magics of your demon masters have turned the land to marsh, the water to blood, and the blood to more magic. Magic for what? Asking them would get you nowhere; your masters not known for sharing their secrets and your kind not for their inquisitiveness. So what is a spawn to do? Aching for... purpose? You abandon your post and head east, out of the marshes and into the wilderness, were no fish have tread before. What are you looking for, little fish? Just looking to make friends and maybe eat their brains, you know, the usual. Just exploring, taking in the sights of the soon to be doomed world before it's eaten. I'm bored, I want to wreck things! I want to eat every single thing I come across. Hail Asherah!
