Drink the wine Enkidel. Also, if you have any eggs, eat the eggs. And the minotaur jerky.

eta: Ishamal, I could see the entire battle in great detail from atop Tudiya's home. Danal could not see this. Is my eyesight abnormally good, or Danal's abnormally bad? I have always seen this way.

eta2: Some theories. Mereniel continues to possibly be Marnal. Marnal is the Melachim of childbirth, healing, and mercy in general. Mereniel is a font of mercy according to Ishamal, and tears. Seems like healing and childbirth, yeah?

Ishamal is older than Zepath and seems to come from a different type of divine origin than Tudiya or Danal. I think we might have a similar type of thing going on with ourselves. I think Ishamal might, in fact, be Enkidu. Or he knew him. Thus the "sad end" Enkidu came to.

I also want to ask Ishamal what he knows of Asherah, either personally or if there's any legends he knows which correspond with him - seeing as he seems to always be an integral part of our dreams as well.

And also ask the details of what was actually happening to us/him when he punched us to safety that time

Actually, if we're going to ask anything about Asherah; I think the best thing we could ask is: "Was Asherah always dominated by hunger as he is now?"

1 obviously. He's saved our rear end a couple of times now and has earned a little leeway. If he hadn't been upfront about telling us what he wasn't telling us I'd have suggested a snarky comment about him just telling us we should be more careful and starting now by not drinking that until we know what it does, but since he was, just drink.

I'm wondering if we should ask Ishamal what he thinks it good/best for a man to learn? Since he said he didn't like teaching people to fight I wonder if there is something he does like teaching. He probably prefers drinking and being awesome to teaching anything though...

No on the Asherah question.

When people say Muriel are they referring to Mereniel, Xuriel or someone else? I think Dio answered as if people meant Mereniel when asking about Muriel.

Also, I am ready to cut Bareen loose. We did not learn staff at the Temple. We learned from Ibiranu I think. Bareen is just going to want to use us for her own interests, which we may not understand, but we can simply have a bad feeling about her. I want to train with Ishamal's friend instead of the Temple.

Ishamal is basically all we could ever want in life. He is an old wizard who goes on adventures, parties with his bros and mentors the king/sits in for him. He is also middle of the road between the two powerful faiths in the city, Ishamal is the embodiment of everything we have attempted in this game life.

Well, that seals it. The forest pavilion was Xuriel's place, obviously.

I'm pretty sure Mereniel isn't the "god" of love except in the most roundabout way. It appears to be a thing that weeps for all the world.

I'm suddenly glad we chose to be mortal - several divine beings seem to be miserable fucks.

I also vote NO to asking about Asherah. All of Ishamal's advice has pointed firmly toward "don't poke at the fishgod" so far. He likely won't tell us anything that would lead us into dark places, and we'd only demonstrate unhealthy curiosity.

Note that he likely knows about Asherah. He knows about Shushem, anf that we were trying to replicate the rituals he did, so he likely has the same insight as Tudiya does - which is odd, because he doesn't appear to have a particularly heavy dose of Labras.

Won't Tudiya know about my dreams anyway, because he is king and the minds of men are open to him?
