This is the vote that finally made me register, hope you guys are happy. G A is winning by 1 vote right now, according to my count, based on Tsyni 45/39. Questions for the Consensus: Why do you expect I will be able to arrive here in less than a day at some point in the future? When do you estimate I will reach this level (rounded to the closest decade would be okay)? What kind of favor do you think is most likely you will ask of me? Do you think it's probable that the next time the Hive comes under attack so will Ur? When was the last time the Bnaikmot entered your territory? Could be take some of your music instruments back home? Do you use pigments for your painting? Could we take some with us? Could we take some plant samples from the underground? Do you have pets? How do you tell the difference between a member of the Brood and cattle? Do members of the Brood of sufficient intellect ever go adventuring on their own? In my adventures I have seen some creatures with strange stones within them (Great toad and that weird stone monster), do you have some insight to share about that? What is nephesh? What's a talmid? Which of these names do they recognize and which ones do they refuse to talk about : Leviathan, Dragoom, Quetzatl, Fare, Ogar, Asherak, Asherah, Labaras, Enkidu, Ishamal. Question for Diog: When explaining the culture in Ur, have we mentioned the phrases "Mercy is never misplaced" or "Do not destroy"? If so, how did the bugs react? They recognized Zepa's shield with whom they struck a deal long ago. The mighty Zepa decided that they weren't worth killing, on the condition that they swear obedience to his lineage. After a few days of conversation to assert our identity they recognized our might, which we demonstrated by totally killing some mighty bugs inside the hive you guys (or whatever we think will please Uriah and the others), they decided to honor the deal and provide us with as much assistance as they can. And we will honor Zepa's side of the deal by not killing them all, something we could totally do. For the bugs: How should we dispose of the bodies of the members of the Brood once they pass away? (basically want to know if it's okay to give them to indor or something else) The member with "sufficient intellect to command the others" will probably be killed as soon as Tudiya finishes reading his mind, would it be okay if he lives the rest of his life in complete isolation somewhere outside of Zepath? What would you recommend we do? Mr. Nemo fucked around with this message at 22:27 on Feb 4, 2016 |

Remembered a thing or two: Bring Snarls into the hive, offer to carry him if he is too afraid to walk. Ask: Share the Urian accepted version of what the world is shaped like (turtles or something?). Is this correct? If they answered the medicine question they should be okay with answering this.

I had a question about what to do with the bodies of the beetles and with the smart insect once you get to Zepath, you may get to them in a while, repeating it just in case. The shape of the world question was completely literal, so I may be missing something but i don't see how it relates to the past. Is the world flat? Could we take some of the intoxicants you mentioned earlier? We...uh..know someone that may be interested in them. Do you use tools or are Brood members specialized enough as to not need them? Can you create new Brood members with different abilities, such as this interpreter, at will? What are you going to do with the donkeys, specifically, beyond contributing to the propserity of the Brood? Eat them? Create some sort of donkey insect? Would you be interested if we could bring you different animals in the future? Are there flying brood members? Could we get some tips on how to fly....for a friend? Is my dog just a dog? Except for the fact that the Melachim kind of being okay with it, and they don't seem to be that much of an rear end in a top hat. Mt. I'd think that perhaps this is how the Demon-Fred fed, lured people out of the camp every night, then devoured them, which explains why it kept 'escaping' or 'wandering off' and needing to be brought back by Nahari. Thing is, if that's all that was going on, why did Demon-Fred suddenly feel the need to try chowing down on Ruth right here and now? Your first part of the post is most likely correct. And what happened here is that Ruth probably woke up, saw the women heading east following Fred or something, tried to stop it and got herself attacked. No way she expected a demon, which explains why she didn't wake anyone else up. This update read somewhat weirdly. Probably the fact that "we" could see the number of Gebebans going down, but Enkidel couldn't. Seems a bit unfair, but's it's difficult to roleplay the main character being deceived. As we learned from Is E more "suicidal charge" or more "let the Enkidel and Uriah lead the charge and strike when the opportunity arises"? Turns out 80% consenshs in impossible to achieve, how far we are from the bug bros... Changing from K to WE That's the Snarls leaves with our children right? I wanna vote for that. This is it folks, let's try to at least save someone. It seems it's mostly focused on women and children, may not pursue our "kids" and "dog". I'd much rather do K, at least we know we are powering a demon repelling amulet instead of...closing our eyes for a while? I'm a bit conflicted about this guy. Going on the defensive, trying to remain hidden, only capturing women and yet our bow doesn't even pierce his wings' membrane? And it DID try to stop Uriah from powerwording it, gives me some hope it could se hurt, if not defeated.

Another chance to vote correctly guys: KEF Try to save our children and some Gebs. We lose nothing by trying K, except some time, and I doubt thst a few seconds head start is going to save us from this thing. If you are still worried about keeping our promise to Ish then I don't know what to tell you. It's unlikely that this is going to completely empty our well anyway. Pumping ??? Into Paebrl may make him a target, but we are all already dead, the order in which we go doesn't really matter. Edit: do people really think that this thing can't eat all the people here and then catch up to the beetles? It's not impossible, but it seems a bit unlikely. So far it seems to be focused on women, so it could just not care about pursuing our Balls if we bail, but if we escape with the gebebans? We are getting chased, and killed if we try to defend them. We are just delaying it. K seems like the proactive choice, may as well try anything now. Mr. Nemo fucked around with this message at 16:34 on Feb 11, 2016 |

Task Manager posted:It just seems like K has very little chance of succeeding, and will likely cost a lot, when there's a good chance we can bail now and get away. Let's admit we cannot beat this enemy, and do the rational thing and retreat. I think that's where we have to disagree, "a good chance we can bail"? Assume we escape with 50 civilians, and this thing takes 2 days to chase everyone we left here, then what? It's probably smart enough to realize some escaped and come after us. MAYBE he will be full or something. MAYBE he will have enough souls inside of him for whatever nefarious purpose he needs them. Otherwise, why would he stop chasing us? Too tired? Too afraid? We enter another demon territory? This guy is only going to respect something even stronger than him. Also, I wanna see whatever Paebel is trying to do, why lie. I also don't think he is working for anyone else, I'd say he is just a wilderness demon, eating whatever crosses his path. There may be something nepesh related but who knows. The giants ate man and woman alike, and so did the Doom of Taanach (can't remember actualy) and we've never seen any differences between male and female soul spirits. His children are demons, and he slept in eternal slumber due to his nature, which he could not overcome. If this were true, and considering this is just a game and we are not Enkidel I'd be tempted to vote A. But we can't know for sure.
