I finally catch up with a 160-page LP of a heavily story-based game... just in time to find out it's been going for a year and a half and it's still a good way from being completed.

No, yeah, this is great, but there are some things that have been bugging me that I'm curious about. But I don't want to speculate too much, because of reasons. I think I'll have to just sit on it, and bring it up once the LP's over.

It seems like every time we're a super dick, we immediately get a bad ending. I voted Betray so that we could hit that bad ending immediately, and then do Ally right after. Maybe it'll undo a plot lock. Or maybe it'll actually work, and we'll get to feel terrible forever. Win-win!

I still like the way this one handled things more than the Required Safe Ending thing in 999. Without a way to just go back, at least this one gives you a real sense of helplessness instead of the game just telling you "no, go back and do it right".
