My girlfriend's 3 year old likes to bounce all over YouTube when she's playing on our iPad and she recently started asking us to "put on the eggs!". Like over and over. And we had no idea what she was talking about.

Eventually we realized we could just check the watched videos history or whatever and it turns out she's been watching a ton of people opening kinder eggs and showing off to the camera what was inside. Kind of like those nerdy technology unboxings but even more pointless and a lot more creepy.

There are apparently entire communities devoted to opening these things and sharing it online. I'm on my phone or I'd post some of the weirder ones but ... I'm sure you guys can figure out what kind of ultra sperglords this sort of thing attracts.

EDIT: I only watched about 20 seconds of the Gangnam style video before posting. Well after opening another beer, tried to finish it. SLIGHTLY different sounding but similarly recognizable beat, makes his own lyrics, why the gently caress do I hate this kid so much ?!
