I'm not really looking for a gaming laptop either, but the nice QHD screen really sold me on it. I found one for sale and snatched it up. It should be here this week... Hopefully it arrives in one piece.

My g15 came in and im very satisfied. Ive spent maybe only an hour on it, but the build quality is good and the screen is a dream. Its a bit large and heavy compared to my 2015 13” zenbook, but being able to run CAD is well worth the tradeoff.

Been using g15 for a week now. Dual boot win10 works well and this thing has handled everything i’ve thrown at it. Mic setup was kinda screwy and required me to dig through windows settings to make myself audible. Screen brightness is a non-issue for me and i never use the speakers so I cannot comment on them. Build quality is very good, but i worry about stuff getting into the chassis via the holes on the bottom. We’ll see!
