I kinda want my next dog to be an off-the-street rescue like that, or just stealing them from someone who keeps them on a cable 24/7 without shelter and fuckall for food. I could probably find one like that within 20 minutes of cruising the eastside of Tacoma, it depends if they're docile enough to be rescued, though. But then again I had labs as a kid, having one again would be awesome

If that hound is gonna go "BAOOOO" constantly while you're gone, I'd stay away. People had Beagles a block away from me at the last place I lived and they never trained them out of it, so their obnoxious dogs are baying at everything as they walk them, baying at everything out the window, and you can hear them half a block away. More obnoxious than rat dogs.

Ask your vet for recommendations, not the min wage chump at the pet store. I thought I heard from another thread here that blue buffalo wilderness or whatever was loving up cats and dogs' urinary tract so much that if the pet was having bladder issues and they didn't say they fed it blue buffalo, they owed the other vet a six pack.
