Dobbies are stupidly loyal and protective. If you don't pay attention to them or don't allow them to be your pal they'll find something else to guard.

Rottweilers too. When I was growing up, the next door neighbour had a Rottie that decided that our house was worth guarding as well as his. If you ran, he'd chase after you all angry. Stop and walk and he was fine with that.

Totally ignored our Golden Retriever and believed all the property was his to guard. Got his rear end kicked by our Golden Retriever several times, but still kept coming back.

I miss both of them, now that I think about it.

Ok when I get home I promise I'll at least edit a bit and up on YouTube. Got 48 mins of footage (mostly him trying to hump)

Get a Vine account. That way you only need to post 6 seconds at a time. Just post lots of 6 second clips.

So, about that GoPro footage...?

Nostalgia4Dicks posted:

Come on man just chaining your dog up outside while you go throw back a cold one with your boys while the dog is just barking at the window the whole time?

I don't know how people do that. The number of times I'll come out of my local shopping centre, and there's a dog there barking and whining.

Now, the bigger issue is the fact that the dog has that level of separation anxiety, but still its kinda heart breaking to see. The dog doesn't actually know (to any certainty) that its human is coming back or what's happening in the first place.

Bit? Thats a massive loving understatement.

The whole video is extremely tough to watch - fair warning to everyone else.

I don't even recognize him anymore. In retrospect I should have asked to leave a little more length but it is a pain in the rear end with all the rain

BFF got a Mohawk too

Can you post a comparison pic of first week vs today?

Also, you've been promising us GoPro footage for so long, you're the worst kind of tease :(

That poo poo was a pain in the dick to get sorted just so you all know

My first time really using it (go pro and any video editing software) That's from yesterday. There's about 90 minutes of footage I'd guess, that's just the first bit.

I don't know if I'll just upload all of it at lower quality or try to just get the highlights or what.

If there's a large enough interest I guess I can make it a consistent thing

Finally!

Thank you, its awesome.

Alternatively, you can watch this: https://www.youtube.com/watch?v=Zy97RgzxhJg

Hope For Paws - Official Rescue Channel: Jordan's Journey - The extended version

Not a fan of those FB based videos which are pretty much rips (not sure if the one above is or not) from the YouTube channel. Figure if I'm going to watch it, I'll watch it on YouTube where they'll at least get a microscopically tiny amount of money for it, then I tend to go and donate some $ after.

Big dogges are the goodest

Good call, all I saw was the Leon in the foreground and kinda got distracted. They're such good dogges.

Also, don't forget a Newfie in that list

Hey guys, I would like to recommend two youtube channels, VetClinicGambia and Cordylobia Anthropophaga, both owned by the same group.

Its a veterinary clinic in the Gambia (somewhere in africa) which takes care of dogs that are in need of help. Most of the times, owners brings dogs infested with mangoworms and Micha (owner of the clinic) along with his assistants take care of the dogs and make them all better. The videos are often gross, but they are definitely helping the dogs and saving their lives.

They use youtube advertising as a means to help fund the clinic. They do have other source of fundings, but every little bit helps.

Here's an example of their videos.

:siren: Its digusting, gonna tag it NSFW just in case. :siren:

Honest to god, if you want to help them just give some money instead of watching the videos. That video, goddamn.

On that super happy note, have some dogge pics!
