      They fight over everything, including holes that both of them dug. e: Scuda was 18 pounds when I took her home a month ago, she's up to 35 now. Gonna be huge.

Did they always like water or did you acclimate them to it? Scuda hates water and no amount of treats will change her mind. I just put her in my in-laws pool today and she freaked out and got out as fast as she could.

My nephew was mostly raised by my mom and the older Golden Retriever for the first two years of his life, at least during the day since my sister had to work. He still refers to Maia as "my mommy dog."

52 pounds. I don't remember any of my parents' dogs growing this fast. She was 18 pounds in June. She's the most affectionate dog. Every time I come home from being gone for more than an hour, she goes nuts. Wiggling, wagging her funny little tail, and trying to eat my face. Best part of having a dog.

My wife and I got back from our delayed honeymoon in Barbados on Saturday night. Sunday morning we went to her parents house to pick up the dogs. They were so happy to see us it was ridiculous. Scuda was tackling me (60 pounds now) and whining, licking my face. Chloe was jumping on us and barking. I'll post some Scuda pictures later, she's getting so big.

Whenever she feels like "gently" eating my face or if she's biting me or if I feel like it so whenever She almost never bites hard so I'm probably being a terrible owner by letting her gnaw at me when we play, but when she actually does chomp down every once in a while I make sure she knows it's bad. And the one time she growled and snapped at my nephew (when she weighed only 30 pounds or so) I roughed her up pretty good. She let him pet her after that and even sniffed at him in a friendly way the next time she saw him.
