I’ve been getting out of my apartment on the weekends and taking Monty with me. I walked over 45k steps this weekend and he was with me for most of them. And he gets home and immediately passes out. It’s incredibly fulfilling watching my dog snore his rear end off because he was busy living his best life all day. Photography has been a life saver.

I don’t know if anyone remembers me posting about Lady, my cousin’s dog. When I got out of the army I moved in with my cousin and essentially stole Lady from her. She was my pal and helped me during my transition out of the military before I got Monty. She had to be put down this morning. Hug your pups.

Monty has developed a pretty mean case of separation anxiety since he’s been around me for 99% of the last few months. Was out walking him and had to go back inside for a sec so I left him with a friend and hoooollyyy moly suddenly I’m the biggest piece of poo poo on earth.

I tried to feed Monty before his morning walk. He looked at me like a piece of poo poo and refused his food. Thought maybe he wasn’t feeling good. He demolished his food after his walk though.
