A good tip for these sort of situations is to keep peroxide handy, because a cap full of that (depending on weight probably) is pretty good at forcing them to vomit everything up.

Pugs have their problems for sure. My guys jaw is a little crooked so I think thats why his tongue is always perpetually out. He had to get a couple of teeth removed because of that. Other than that you just have to keep them from eating too much and keep their face clean (ketoseb wipes) and that prevents a lot of their health problems.

well I need all your puppo power prayers today for this little dude: he showed up in my backyard somehow, probably squeezed in through the fence somewhere. He only weighs a few pounds. It doesn't have a tag on its collar. I took it to the vet to see if it was chipped and no  putting ads out but being careful because i don't want someone to take him and use him for dogfighting practice brought him inside to give him some food and water and trying not to get attached. He is pretty well behaved and adorable

animal control thinks they have a match, so they're coming to get him. On one hand I hope he has a happy reunion but on the other I worry that they might be lovely dog parents If it's not a match he'll go to humane society for a week before they release him for adoption, at which case I might go for it.

bye little pupper he was only around for a few hours and I actually got a little misty when he left I am so mental I think. Well that's obvious actually but still. I just hope he has the best dog life
