I hope I'm not opening a can of worms here, but what happened to Icarus II? I see Nostalgia for doggos post in other threads from time to time, but he was also very active here. Or maybe I don't want to know? Don't answer if I don't want to know...

The local animal shelter has opened back up and they are allowing regulars to walk dogs again.  So three times a week, I get to walk 2-3 dogs now. Dogs like this one:    Or this one:   Or this little black hole that's really hard to catch on camera:  Life's pretty good right now.

Quick update of the last two weeks walking shelter dogs. Some are more reluctant at first ...  but ear scritches usually help break the ice.  This one, Wilma, is the most affectionate of the bunch.   Ella is a close second though.    I think I posted Leo before, but he's not a blurry, fluffy black hole in this one.  If you ever need your floor mopped, Emma is your gal.

Haven't posted from my shelter walks in a while, mostly because I walked the same dogs a lot over the last couple of weeks. But today I met Bello, a temporary guest in my local shelter. OMG OMG OMG. First time walkies with this 5 months old sweetheart, transferred in from a shelter in Romania. She does this "Imma hug your leg and melt your heart" thing. It's super effective.

Browsing the local shelter's site and now I feel judged. Thought y'all should feel judged as well.  Edit: Holy poo poo, they got a whole new batch of 11 dogs which came from a household with 40 dogs.
