Are these Tojiro knives easy to break? I'm going to be living in a dorm with 5 other people and although I'll try to forbid their use I'd like to be able to come home from classes without fear.

drat, was hoping that wouldn't be the case. Guess I'll just order this set and a honing rod then. Would you recommend a waterstone or an oilstone with these cheap knives? I'm thinking a cheap double-sided oil would be good as I'd rather not pay more on the sharpener than the knives, haha.
