I think I found a minor bug. The first time you go to the new circus, in the room with the assembly line chef behind the window, if you send your birdy friend into the room on the left and look on the control panel you can see dogfriend in the mine cart already, even though he hasn't fallen in yet.

We've fixed this in the steam version but not the GOG/Humble/Itch DRM Free versions. Those must be manually updated and it takes a little while after we send it to them. I think I've come across a bug: At the part with the crane and the vicious creature, when I knock the bathtub onto the creature, the cursor disappears and the game becomes stuck in an unplayable state. This is in version 1.2 from GOG.

Thanks for this neat game. Pretty sure I hugged all the things, but during the ending sequence, while everyone else was blaming the CEO for the destruction to the police, the little girl with the flower was crying and had a monstrous Dropsy speech bubble I definitely have her on the wall of hugs so I don't know!

They also have thought bubbles instructing Dropsy to run. The cop should be the one saying that, if anyone. That said, it's possible some older dialogue crept in there. I'll have a look.

played through this. loved every minute of it. I remember that the "dream world" was going to be a big part of the game but I didn't get to see much of it being utilised that much in the game. maybe I missed out on something?

Yeah, it was supposed to have a lot more. Originally it was one enormous scene that you could explore until you reached a hidden checkpoint, denoted by Mr. Floor Mouth. We decided to flesh out the main world with more interactivity instead. There are a few additional dreams coming in the beach update that are already partially complete, so it'll at least be a tiny bit bigger.

Any update on the expanded area? Also wow, it's been a while since anything in was posted in this thread. Dropsy's now available on iOS (iPads only I think) with an Android port also in the works.

We experienced some pretty bad burnout after release, so it's taken a while. I think we have something like 6 new scenes in it, as well as new cutaways for mousy/birdy, more dreams, puzzles, hugs, etc. A bit more lore-y stuff too for folks who wanted to know more about the ending - should make the reveal smoother. A lot of it is stuff we wanted to get in by release but couldn't manage. Late march is when we estimate it'll be out. I'm getting married on April 2 so I have no choice. :P

Treasure Hunter is the only achievement which is eluding me now. I got all the pages, and did all the quests related to things which need to be dug up... So I wonder which optional one I missed?

I picked this up when it came out last year and I just got around to playing it. I want a win 95 version I can put on a bunch of floppy disks and show my friends and convince them we all repressed it from our childhood ala Stephen King's IT. But obviously with way more hugging.

There's a couple of Kickstarter adventure games in development that fit the 'rediscovered obscure adventure game' idea - Paradigm and Demetrios (especially Paradigm).
