I'm trying to get into woodworking but man the start up costs are not insignificant. like all the tools you gotta get, whether hand or power, are not cheap, and the materials are also v expensive unless you own a literal lumber mill

here's my current dumb project. i'm making like a play house/hiding place for babby under the desk. we used to have a file cabinet there and she'd always go back behind it and play peekaboo so i moved the file cabinet and started this got batting and fabric today so i'll start upholstering it tomorrow, and hopefully have it done by ~her birthday~ on monday
