Dude, I am/was working with some guys on the BOSCH LH-jetronic stuff (pre-motronic), it's 8052 as well.

Another guy did the hard work of the disassembly and stuff, once I had it I made a bunch of tunerpro defs and actually wrote a rudimentary datalogger that would poo poo out a signal that could be read with an OBD-II K-Line reader

It never worked well, I eventually went Megasquirt after blowing a few headgaskets doing this on poorly hacked factory management

sup dude? I don't have anything useful to contribute but I run megasquirt 2 extra on a turbo 240Z so high five to a fellow megasquirter or w/e

running feels slow and I think mega man jumped a littler higher but then it might be the level layouts. Hitbox on the bullets is smaller than I remember.

Thank you for this. Please keep me posted.

hi thanks for the feedback, it might be slow depending on the browser - google chrome has had particularly bad canvas performance the last few releases. firefox, safari, and ie11 generally do a lot better. running at full speed, the game is running the same constants as megaman 3. jumping is another thing that changed depending on which megaman you were playing. 1, 2, and 3 all had their own constants for jumping, and 4, 5, 6 all shared the same constants (which were different from 1, 2, and 3). I'm using the constants from megaman 3 here. not sure about the hitboxes on the bullets i just winged it there but will pay closer attention the next time i am looking at one of the actual megaman games

your runtime is your debugger so if you lose your runtime to something as simple as an infinite loop you have no execution break to find the location of the issue
ive started poking around at haxe + flixel as per mido's suggestion and it seems nice but I've never used action script or whatever it's trying to be so the learning curve is gonna be rough

my suggestion is to never write an infinite loop

yo so I've been working on a thing for the last few days. its kinda clunky still but im ready to show it off a little. here is a description of thing:

it is called pocketga.me

it is a cloud-based emulator/rom storage platform for playing "homebrew" content mostly on iOS (although im guessing android works fine w/ it but it can run native emus so why bother) right now it supports gameboy/gameboy color and NES, and cloud state saving on gameboy so you can come back to your pokemon game later. i'll be adding more emulators and improvements over the coming weeks

you have to register an account to get started. register here: http://pocketga.me/

next upload your favorite homebrew NES or gameboy rom, marking them as either nes or gameboy

here is a good site to download some NES homebrew: http://www.nesworld.com/article.php?system=nes&data=neshomebrew
and some gameboy homebrew: http://pdroms.de/news/gameboy/

next login to the site on your iphone, and go to list/play games. then click the game you want. keep the iphone in portrait mode as that works best right now. enjoy.

if you want to try it out on your computer instead of iphone, the controls are arrow keys, a is z, b is x, enter is start, and shift is select on gameboy, and control is select on nes. sorry you have to deal with looking at onscreen controls right now

here's a screenshot of it running some nes game:
