I really enjoyed the first area of this game, but it fell apart shortly after. The loot system also felt like a pretty pointless addition, and the fantasy land setting wasn't as interesting as the post-apocalyptic-earth-that-doesn't-care-about-humanity thing that DS1 had going on. I could have ignored all that easily if the quality just kept up past the beginning. Could've been great.
