I kinda perceived that ending as a subtle Hawaii 5-0 joke. That was why they couldn't get Gat back for most of 3, right?

From what little I saw of S+G, it seemed closer to Gotham City Impostors. Which is fine, I kinda liked that game.

I just think the authorial flourish of making a character's VA (in 3 and in 2's dlc) a porn actress is a little strange.

The only really good bit in GooH was the musical sequence. I ate that up. I did also like Vogel's absolutely unfettered business sense. Even in Hell, Ultor is gonna get its.

AoM spoilers: You're half right. It's revealed that the boss was split into three: their id, ego, and superego. Their id was reconstituted into the villain of AoM, Doctor Babylon, who just wants destruction, and their superego into Perephone Brimstone. At the end, the Mayhem crew sets out to find the Boss' ego and reform them into the true Boss.
