A coworker of mine once when in training had the bright idea of trying to cook a shell egg in a microwave. That point forward (and later classes could verify it) there is a sign stating specifically not to microwave shell eggs. I once tried making something with onions, and in an attempt to save myself the time chopping the onion into tiny pieces, I used a grater to grate the onion into a fine paste. Which was incredibly bitter.
