There was even a joke about how what Charlie was doing only made sense in the context of the Emmys and not in their metaphor for the Emmys.

Literally his entire plot this episode was about trying to win a best song award, which exists only in the Emmys and not at all in the best bar awards.

The best part of "Who pooped the bed?" Is undoubtedly Fran Kranz matter-of-factly asking, "You guys got a turd?"

This was one of the best episodes ever, and the gang casually admitting that Mac is gay was definitely the best part. They got all the mileage they could out of leaving it in the subtext and now it's out there.

We get one more season, right? I know the contract is inked for the end of the series, but I can't remember if it's this season or next.

I want more. Which is cool, 'cause there was a time the show was losing me, and you almost never see a show jump the shark and then jump right back.

Always Sunny season eleven: ghost written by Reddit.
What does this even mean? I see people do this so often about Reddit or Tumblr, but the former contains both fat shaming and social justice subreddits, and the latter is as much memes and porn as anything else.

They're extremely diverse platforms of communication. Like, you might as well say something was ghost-written by New York.

See? Tumblr isn't flipping their poo poo. Some people on one incredibly specific particular corner of Tumblr don't like a thing we liked.

Reddit has basically become another shorthand here for fedora/neckbeard/etc. Or "nerdy/geeky people we don't like".
But that doesn't make sense either. Is a m'lady type really going to write an episode that points out that 80s movies were full of sexual assault?

I'm expecting racists to hate the episode for the right reasons and some progressive types to hate it for the wrong reasons. Like others have said though I thought it was solid social commentary
I'm a hugely insufferable social justice warrior and I find this episode and sunny in general to be incredibly inoffensive. Portraying lovely behavior is fine so long as the media in which it's contained doesn't act like it's an awesome thing to do.

By not limiting themselves based on what is considered distasteful.
I still have yet to find a thing this show's done that's really distasteful.

Like, distasteful is when the male protagonist does something terrible to a barely-developed woman in your art, and then he's treated by the art as being right and correct and just. That's offensive.

Horrible people obviously being horribly in the wrong all the time, and the show being very clear about how they're terrible people and not to be emulated? Like, if I had a twelve-yeart-old, I'd let them watch Sunny.

Obviously everybody's going to have their own personal line, but there's huge loving difference between portraying behavior and condoning it.

This is PR, I'm pretty sure. They made it sound like that on the Season 1 and 2 DVD set, but I'm pretty sure FX approached him with it and he'd never seen the show beforehand.

But I would absolutely believe that he watched the episodes and was like, "sold."
