All they needed to do in the trailer as Kevin Smith stated in one of his recent podcast's was to put the "I'll buy that for a dollar!" guy in the movie and have that shot of him saying the line at the end of the trailer. The whole of the internet would be there opening day...

I actually really enjoyed the film, there was something holding it back from being really good that I can't quite put my finger on. I'm surprised with how public the rebirth of Alex Murphy was made and confused as to why none of the criminals targeted his wife and kid...
