Yay! This show is consistently brilliant, and count me in for the Diaz fan club too. I also loved the idea of Gina and the sergeant tag-teaming up on Terry Crews. The way they were going back and forth at the firing range to push Crews to the edge - I mean, their characters are complete opposites but they happen to work very well together.

I had the feeling that Samberg already toned down his character a bit, which was nice. Also, Terry Crews shrieking like a little bitch and emptying his clip into random inanimate objects will never get old. Show's theme is also my ringtone right now.

Just burned through the first five episodes in two days. Man is this show fun to watch and its cast is stellar. At first Samberg's character was just a little grating but still fun to watch, and he's become way more likable since. MVP has to go to Andre Braugher, he steals every scene he's in and he has perfect at deadpan. All the cast are great but special shout out to Terry Crews and Chelsea Peretti, I hope there's more scenes with them together because dear god they're a hilarious team.

According to Dan Fienberg, Brooklyn Nine-Nine got a 79% bump in the Live+7 18-49 numbers. Of course you also have to factor in the aforementioned bidding war FOX got into for Andy Samberg, and the amount of Alpha viewers the show is apparently picking up, but I think this is one more piece of evidence that DVR numbers are becoming less of an afterthought this year.

The Parks & Rec Halloween episode was going to actually land on Halloween (an intensely rare awesome coincidence), so NBC did the sensible thing by delaying its airing until November. Next level poo poo

I know it's kinda silly to talk characterization on a comedy show like this but I do like they try to soften Paralta a little bit from the pilot. He is a jerk but he does kinda care and think he is friends with the other detectives.
