I changed my theme from OLED to default and bsky embeds started working again, and they're still working after changing the theme back fwiw

Very minor stuff: Sometimes when I touch/click a thread, or when I click on a forum the next appearing "page" (forum content or list of subforums or list of threads) is scrolled to the middle of the page, sometimes to the bottom of the page. Would be nice to make sure I start at the top. Bookmarking a thread should give a message like when it tells me there is a new announcement ("thread bookmarked!"). That would be better than not reacting at all imho. Sometimes when I touch the arrow showing the next page of a thread I twitch or my finger is too close to the glass and I accidentally touch it twice, resulting in me skipping forward a page. Would be nice if the App would not accept new inputs once I signal that I want to forward/backward one page until the next page is loaded. But like I said, very minor stuff and possibly related to my phone and myself. You do God's work. Thanks.

This might be user error, but are there known issues displaying all of your PMs in the app? I was looking for an old message of mine, but the messages listed in the app cut off a few years ago, when I know (and verified) that I have older ones. Oddly enough, that's a bit over 100 messages listed here, while looking at them in a browser apparently only loads 50 without further user input, so it doesn't seem to be related to that. I also can't pull to refresh like when you're looking at search results, or figure out how to load more messages any other way.

Added some changes to how the app handles cookies because it was doing weird things and Astral asked us to stop. It's in an outgoing beta that should hit your device sometime between me writing this post and three weeks from now. Hello, I've used this awful app for many years and enjoy it thoroughly. Here's a feature request that would be cool and good: a "Recently viewed threads" list, just stored locally on device. Doesn't need to be anything fancy, just a simple list ordered by most recent thread you were looking at while taking a dump. Love you

My awful app is crashing. Worked fine last night, but now it's flashing up the splash screen and immediately quitting. Tried opting out of beta and reinstalling and rebooting but no change. Android is no help, just says "this app has a bug". Any ideas?

it's funny because if you work on Real Apps the way you do it is you upload the new version and then mail a guy at Google and Apple and they manually bump your priority up each time (and then you still wait a mystery amount of time and get rejected for bullshit reasons) very efficient system

Yea the app started bugging for me today. Uninstall didn't help but clearing the cache and app data did. Am I just getting old or has the font changed for the actual forums list and in the app? Looks different to me but then again, I'm not the most stable person.

After getting the update that fixed the crashes, when I post a reply in a thread, it redirects me to page 1 rather than to the page with the reply. Then the reply sits as an unread post in the forum overview / used panel.
