Compendium posted:I agree! Caught up with the episode tonight with a friend. We really enjoyed those bits. I liked that while Sherlock was trying all episode to practice the art of releasing demons from the skull via drill and failing, it was because he was distracted by someone with real demons and helped him work on overcoming them.

Meanwhile, Watson embarks on a solo enquiry to find a homeless veteran when his friend alleges he was abducted.

It was like the hole in the skull metaphor a few episodes ago. Really liked the episode, it was a lot of fun.

New Episode Tonight Ears to You (guest star spoiler but it's probably who you're hoping it is) Holmes and Watson consult on a case in which a man suspected of murdering his wife years ago receives a ransom demand for her safe return. Meanwhile, Lestrade overstays his welcome at the brownstone and seems unwilling to leave.

Pick posted:It is ridiculous how much the fans have latched onto the animals that show up but I am absolutely not complaining. It is really funny to me that Elementary's fanservice is not T&A, but instead a tortoise. It's actually probably a testament to how good the show has been at establishing Watson and Holmes as friends and colleagues. Although, I don't go looking for Holmes/Watson fan art (or any fan art in general), there may be a lot.

Finally saw the episode. It was good and all but I do love how Sherlock keeps in touch with the group of hackers (Everyone, is it?) and matter of factly performs outrageous stunts to get what he needs. I am dying to hear his rendition of Let it Go

New Episode tonight No Lack of Void A pickpocket dies of anthrax poisoning, putting Holmes and Watson on the trail of the toxin's source in order to prevent more deaths. I'm hoping for more of Clyde cosplaying as a shark.

I sort of knew that Garrett Dillahunt was the guy, just because it's him. I loved the B story about Alastair and how Sherlock had to come to terms with his death. The last scene just cemented that I love how refreshingly human this Sherlock Holmes is. Cumberbatch's Sherlock is almost alien, and certainly a solid portrayal, but I love Jonny Lee Miller's Sherlock with his faults and foibles, and his human emotion wrapped up in the intelligent, problem solving, curmudgeonly wrapper that is classic Holmes.

Oh my god it's Thursday! New Episode Tonight Paint it Black (Directed by Lucy Liu) Business becomes personal for Sherlock when he is forced to partner with his estranged brother, Mycroft, to solve a case with life-or-death consequences. I hope Joan is okay. Also, I was very happy to see Ms. Hudson last week. Only two more episodes this season - Ep. 23 Art in the Blood - no description yet Ep. 24 The Grand Experiment - (very spoilery description)Rising tension between Sherlock and Joan brings their partnership to a crossroads, but they endeavor to put their differences aside while they help Sherlock's brother, Mycroft, who faces accusations of treason and murder. hollylolly fucked around with this message at 21:17 on May 1, 2014 |

The Joan/Mycroft kissing scene was... blech. No chemistry at all. I am very interested to see where this goes though - the framing Mycroft bit, not the Joan+Mycroft Sitting in a Tree bit. Chekov's Heroin has yet to come into play, and I can't see them saving it for next season. Joan moves out, Sherlock backslides?
