That would be my guess as well. I certainly hope that will turn out to be the case. I like the way Elementary have used Morarity so far, but if every single shady thing was suddenly connected to her I'd get bored.

I seem to recall his voice doing the same thing around the half-way point of last season as well. Apparently winter in New York does not agree with him.
