Is there no Family Guy thread or and I just blind?

Goons are showing as much effort as the production team of that show, which is only right.

Don't remember that one at all :(

It's one with Jeff's dad and the great bits of Stan and Roger getting high as gently caress.

Wasn't there an episode where some people were chained to a wall in the basement and forced to watch the cable tutorial channel? Or was that another MacFarlane show? I sincerely hope not. Well anyway it was a lot like Klaus' story in this episode tonight.

It was Family Guy.

It was a better time before American HD channels were able to be simulcast hijacked.

The weird thing here is that our local Fox affiliate (which is actually across the border) gets their Sunday night lineup from a Global feed, ads and all.

EDIT: \/ I'm Canadian. It's a US-based Fox. So I get Sunday shows with Global ads on Global or Sunday shows with mostly Global ads on Fox. This happens for some of the weeknight shows too.

Are the shows coming back next weekend? Two weeks off after just returning for the season is pretty stupid.

Weekend after I think. First weekend of November

They're actually really good about keeping the various changes.

Except Terry and Greg's dog, but that's an understandable thing to drop.

There's a still-to-be-aired episode entitled "Brian's a Bad Father", so, yeah, it won't last.

There's also one called "Brian and Vinnie play ball" this season. Looks like both dogs will be sticking around.

Glad to hear this is being picked up on TBS,

My only worry is that TBS is just going to run-off the backlog and no new episodes will be made.

Steve in the Heisenberg hat with the reflection is great... Breaking Bad always used reflections to reference the duality of Walter's character. Nice touch by the AD people.

The music at that scene was very Breaking Bad style as well (bluegrass?)

Wasn't there another school shooting?

Yeah, two kids were sent to hospital (one with critical injuries) and the shooter killed themselves.

It's a terrible situation, but thankfully not another Sandy Hook.

I just recently started getting into this but that was one of the best Christmas episodes of anything I've ever seen.

The magically alive knife being thrown into the magically alive wall was hilarious, and also the slitting of the trash bags neck hahaha. Also the music was pretty rad too :black101:

Find the episode from a few years ago called Rapture's Delight. It's even better.

I bet it has to do with the music rights?

Syndication is usually covered in licensing negotiations (as well as home video releases nowadays, but not always.) My Morning Straightjacket is syndicated for sure.

It's not like Wax Fang are a huge band name so I doubt the licensing was too bad.

Can somebody tell Disney to stop making live action kid shows? They're all horrible.

They cost a fraction of the budget of an animated series so they will continue.
