I swear the Kate Beaton thing has taken on the qualities of a fuckin urban legend around here. She came in to one of the webcomics threads, BSS probably, maaaaaybe the LF political comics thread, definitely not FYAD. Posted a few times, someone bought her an avatar and possibly plat, some people were normal, some were weird and many were boring. Then she left, because believe it or not not everyone wants to hang around this board all the drat time. She didn't think much of it, because it is insanely unimportant. Now, goons are presumably still going up to her and being all "sorry we were weird to you on Something Awful dot com, we're not all like that, I swear"
