Did the jump rope show up because of the SWORD guy's "transformation" after passing through the barrier in the sewer? His hazmat turned into a bee keeper's outfit for ... reasons and the monitor cable or whatever turned into the jump rope?

Okay, I'm going to be a little all over the place because god drat was that an episode, but I want to say this first:

Everything about Wanda's appearance outside Westview is wrong. The accent is wrong, the attitude is wrong, her too-showy costume is wrong. We don't see her exit or enter from the Westview side. I don't believe she would just walk away and leave her kids alone. That was not Wanda. If I had to bet further, I'd bet that was Agnes -- who may be a Wanda, I'm starting to wonder about that, but is not our Wanda.

I think I disagree on this take. I think that absolutely was "our" or the REAL Wanda. The spy drone turned attempted missile strike was an interpreted threat against her family and forced her to break out of her happy guilt free fantasy and into the real world and she was clearly NOT happy about it. That's why she walks out of Westview in full on Avengers mode with her accent returned. SWORD made her rip the band aid off and return to the real world. She is definitely doing all this, but someone had to plant the seed. Also, where did all this god level top tier power come from? Endgame had her no selling Thanos, but she was still just using the TK and hex related stuff. This reality warping in that scenario would have shut the fight down super quick yeah?

She's definitely doing it is my take, but is possibly not entirely in control or is being driven to it by someone else.

That Crisis was the last cross over I guess? How do you follow that up?

Superman & Lois was a pretty good pilot. I never watched much Supergirl, but apparently this doesn't really do a lot of referencing to that show. Morgan Edge is a not nice guy I guess? I dig it. The CW bumps reminded me that Flash returns next week and I cannot recall anything that happened on that show post-Crisis. Mirrorverse drama and sad Barry losing his powers ... again?

Honestly, while it might technically be in the Arrowverse to leave the door open for a cameo, it seems to be heading towards a stand alone thing with no connection to no lunch supermax and the WILL-ALWAYS-BE-BROKEN Star Labs. The hook from Crisis doesn't really line up time wise unless this show is taking place years after the cross over.

It's not much of a spoiler but probably. You never see his face and he's referred to as Captain Luthor.

Also, I know it's a Superman story and Superman gotta Superman but I was sort of not thrilled to see duder pull out the Kryptonite thing, and was happy it was resolved quickly and wasn't a drawn out affair. Hopefully the show doesn't go back to that well on the regular. Was it used heavily on Supergirl?

I read til the end and don't really remember much about the ending aside from a few things. I fully agree that the series itself could have been handled in under 100 issues and I'm hoping the animated series will attempt that.

It's me. I'm one of the many that dipped (multiple times on several attempts). Can you spoil how it ends? I always make it a finite distance passed the BIG REVEAL and the rather brutal knock down/drag out confrontation and then I get bored or distracted.

Ultimately, I think I hated the (do we bother spoiling this book?) Butcher truly is the supreme rear end in a top hat heel turn that happens toward the end more than the over-the-top satirical "LOL IT'S THE X-MEN BUT THEY'RE INTO WATCHING PORN AND CIRCLE JERKS" portions, even if that was super dumb even for the time. I guess he's not one for nuance.

I like that the show is at least doing some different things with Butcher, but he's still mostly an rear end in a top hat.

I'm into it, and I never had any hate for Hawkeye. I think he has my favorite moment/line in AoU (I know that's not saying much) and up there in the top ten for favorite bit across the movies. I'm curious as to the plot reasons that keep him in NYC though. MCU Clint was definitely happy on the farm with Laura. Is Cardellini even slated to show up in this at any point?

My favorite seen from AoU is now justified!

Kate's mom is extremely evil and just set Swordsman up? And even though he's incredibly sinister, he's actually a nice guy? Cause it seems like that's what we're dealing with. Yelena is wonderful. Very happy to have more of her after I loved her in Black Widow. I want to see those new suits, drat it. Stop teasing me for a full season, I already did this with Sam.

I think you got hints of that in in the first episode where she's actively mad that something related to Kate's dad's job is causing them to give up the bomb rear end townhome, right? Then Chitauri happens. Her Mom does everything she can from that point forward to keep them in the boughey lifestyle.

If they let Cox and D'Onofrio back, could they potentially work a Punisher into stories that gelled with the MCU? I'd love to see a slightly lighter Berenthal interact with Holland or others.

I REALLY want to her Isaac’s Bronx accent. If they hadn’t made Steven British I’d have really enjoyed cockney or roadman for Jake.

A poster in the TV IV thread hypothesized that we may have already heard it? In Ep 3 when they are driving back from that rich's guy house to the desert Isaac starts talking fast and gets way animated with his hands when talking to Layla about how Harrow is just trying to get inside her head. It could be reaching, but man he almost sounds like he's trying to do a Bronx thing.

My super fuzzy She-Hulk memories from the books (mostly 80's Avengers) is that she was always rolling in the Hulk form. Canonically, could she shift at will?

Catching up with Sandman and I watched "24/7" last night. It's been a minute since I read the books, but didn't that story end with an implication that everyone in the diner got reset?

Also, I think the teaser trailer stuff definitely showed him in the traditional red suit?

Superman & Lois came back, so I've been slowly catching up on the current season. Am I supposed to know what Intergang is aside from having a really goofy name, or who Mannheim is? He wasn't in past seasons I'm pretty sure, but everyone acts like he's been around forever and he's name dropping Lex Luthor.

Outside of that confusing plot stuff, I like this season as so far it's given Superman a problem he can't fix by being Superman.

Nonsense. I watched the Spider-Verse movies and even though I didn’t recognize the songs or know who the artists were, I still could tell they were real songs. The stuff in Invincible sounds exactly like the fake songs they play in CW shows.

I mean, Run the Jewels popped up a few times in Season One and Radiohead gets a needle drop in Season 2?
