Parents have had Optimum for practically forever and it's been pretty good. The Optimum WiFi is actually a seriously useful benefit if you're not an unlimited data cell plan, those networks are everywhere in NY. Unlike a lot of other free wifi networks you don't have to sign in each time either, your phone can sign in automatically if you login to your account and add the phone's mac address.
