I hope I don't regret not buying tickets, but they are coming to the Susquehanna Bank center in Camden, which I don't care for, the tickets are $100, and the seating chart doesn't even show where the seats would be, and as much as I'd like to see Soundgarden, I think I probably should have seen them in the mid '90's instead.

On top of the fact that I ended up eating the cost of the $100 ticket the last time I saw them, I think I'm going to skip this one.

I found some on Youtube but they are pretty poo poo quality. Comcast gives me issues with running torrents. I wish I could buy the series on DVD too. It's like it just evaporated. I'd love a soundtrack as well.

The rest of the album is out now.

Also this article was posted today:

Trent Reznor posted:

He said, “We’ve been working on Nine Inch Nails stuff.” He later added with regard to all of his work, “Things are going good, and when we have something that we think is excellent we will unleash it upon the world.” Earlier this month, he left open the possibility that the band will release new music in 2016. Reznor also discussed his and Ross’ score for Mark Wahlberg’s forthcoming 2013 Boston Marathon bombing movie, Patriot Day.

Anyone give the soundtrack a listen yet?

I have. It's pretty mellow, but that's not exactly unexpected considering the other band on it is Mogwai. The Reznor/Ross tracks are reminiscent of the Girl with a Dragon Tattoo soundtrack, good but not as catchy as the Social Network stuff. The one posted above is the only one with lyrics.

Despite Pitchfork giving me a minor heart attack by declaring it "LP only", NIN.com says the LP purchase also includes a digital copy. Of course, that still seems to indicate that there's no digital-ONLY version. But at least it's not literally JUST on vinyl because that would be stupid.

The statement on NIN.com is:
The Fragile: Deviations 1 will not be available on any digital services and only available in this format while this limited run lasts.

Which could just mean it won't be available for streaming. But it does sound like there won't be a "digital release" at all.

I guess he assumes it will be pirated anyway.
I picked up the ep and the deviations vinyl. It will at least look awesome on my wall, I'll frame it and hang it in my basement.

Sorry to break up the "What genitals does Trent prefer" chat, but I've found that using Pinion as an alarm is a great way to wake up, because of the way it starts off dead silent and over ~30 seconds increases in volume. Plus waking up to NIN is never really a bad way to start the day.

One of my neighbors put one of those in my house, under my entertainment center. I can confirm that it is a pain in the rear end to actually locate.

I just figured it was my cable box until it was going off during a power outage, at which point I found it.

Once I found it I replaced it with a loaded mouse trap and never told anyone about it. Unfortunately the covid outbreak stopped us from having people over so no one has been found out yet.

They are both very faithful covers:

But they kind of break my (personal and very subjective) rule of a good cover song, in that they didn't switch them up all that much from the original.
