Driving unregistered and uninsured were the least of an Adelaide man's problems when he was pulled over in the city's north-eastern suburbs on Monday.

It was 8.30am when the officers stopped his Holden sedan on Sudholz Road at Gilles Plains, believing him to be driving dangerously in the morning's peak-hour traffic.

The officers discovered not only were two tyres blown out but the steering wheel was missing, leaving the driver to control the vehicle with a pair of vice grips.

"Further investigations led police to believe the vehicle had just been involved in a hit-run crash in Northfield only minutes earlier," a police spokesman said.

The driver, a 38-year-old Northfield man, was allegedly driving while disqualified and returned a positive drug test to methyl amphetamine and cannabis.

He was arrested and charged with driving without due care, failing to stop at the scene of a crash, driving in a manner dangerous, driving while disqualified, unregistered, uninsured and contrary to defect and breaching his bail conditions.

He has appeared in court and was remanded in custody.

The bear was an unrepentant arsehole all the time and the ragdoll lady was always like "I am so over your poo poo I'm leaving" and he'd be "fine whatever woman" and the episode I remember there was this Nice Guy trademark that she fell for but then something happened and she almost died and the bear had to save her because the Nice Guy was a coward and then they were friends again until the next episode.

I think it might have been a metaphor for hatefucking.

On the Sunday night, they showed a 30 min movie on the student riots in Quebec and were basically fantasizing about the concept of using violence against the police and one mentioned his love of watching 'riot porn'. I had to ask if they could reconcile the movie with the peace and non-violence pillar of the Greens and whether they condone the use of violence as a means to get what you want. I soon left when the speaker list grew with no signs of stopping (this was before I caught up with you all after the Grand Final), but hearing from another guy who was still there, they didn't even address my question. Looking back, I should have asked what their thoughts on the Cronulla riots were...
