In the run up to Detroit, I've been seeing a lot of posts that we're in the happy fun times what with Matt playing Mario Kart with Hitomi and Woolie and Liam playing Nier and we're well and clear of The Depression Era and surely Detroit won't destroy everyone.

What was The Depression Era? :ohdear:

Has anyone got that video of Matt and Woolie playing an old Sonic game and somehow get to talking about gross sex mattresses and Woolie makes a pretty good impression of the DOOOIING noise and they both spend a couple of minutes nearly dying from laughter? I've been trying to find it lately.

They're my favourite on-screen pairing of all the Best Friends, and it's upsetting because I really don't feel like watching them any more. Because, apparently unlike Paige, I actually do have a moral issue with endorsing people who associate with/tolerate/are fash.

Pretty much, yeah. Pat got me into a lot of games I would've passed on through his streams, more than the rest of the Best Friends channel's videos, but now it's just nah hard pass unless something changes.

Liam's streams are super chill and fun and I like hanging out in them but *man* I forgot how good he is when he has someone to bounce off. Dude has some really really sharp wit to his name.

Knowing about him and Pat never being that close of friends also makes some of the stuff even more shocking cause boy those two worked really well together.

Yeah I tried to watch his Smash stream but he's just kinda... flat solo.

I really find solo streamers to be boring. It's tough to be funny or interesting when you have no one to bounce off of.

Same, for the most part. Sometimes Pat's solo streams are good, but other solo folks are just bland.

Suppose I should go check out the Nier LP with Woolie and Liam now, also the Bloodborne one cause fuckin hell I bounced off that hard. And by bounced off I mean I got slapped by werewolves so hard I clipped into world geometry and got stuck :haw:
