From the new RPS interview:

quote:

Check back tomorrow for a chat with Obsidian CEO Feargus Urquhart about the developer’s enticingly ambitious plans for another Kickstarter. And no, it’s not Pillars of Eternity 2.

:O

Is this the first we're hearing of a new KS?

Dark Souls got me to use potions all the time since they regenerated.

Yep. Limited, regenerating potions might have been my favorite change in Dark Souls. It's such an improvement from the grass farming in Demon's Souls.

Amazing. That's exactly what I was hoping for when I first saw that ocean screenshot.

Is there any chance of allowing us to zoom in a little further? For the most part, the UI looks great at 2560x1600 but the game window itself is a little too zoomed out even when it's as close as it gets.

I realize that 2D assets are much less friendly to zooming than 3D but it still seems that it could go a bit closer for people on very high resolution monitors.

Are you sure? I heard somewhere (don't remember where) that the story was bad.

The story isn't great. But the world interactivity is second to none and it might have the best turn-based RPG combat system I've ever seen.

Consortium is a really neat, that I really enjoyed, 1st person rpg with some slightly awkward - but rare-ish - combat mechanics. It's quite good, well worth checking out. A really nice setting and world and tons of dialog.

Yep. This is one of the few games going for Obsidian-style dialogue and consequences. Really impressive for such a small team.
