This happened to me, but I was able to fix it. I think it happened because I was already registered on Obsidian's forums, which seem to be using the same set of users. I went to the Obsidian forums and sent myself a password reset from there, and was then able to log in on the Pillars of Eternity website with my obsidian forums username/password.

I've been thinking about the whole "one companion of each class" thing and the more I think about it the more I like it. This may have more than a little to do with the fact that 11 companions + Protagonist makes for a "Dirty Dozen".
