To the end, this game was technologically impressive but also an example of a developer that clearly does not know when to stop. It kept that going to the very end. The gameplay felt like it was built around that - everything is explosive, a million enemies appear to the point the console cannot keep up, Touhou-like bullet hell patterns...but hey, you're essentially invincible, so you can just win without ever being in danger. It's just bad all around, but it is undeniably impressive.
