Think about the Jesus-ist guy you know. Multiply it by 10.

I'll give a little more context since you're maybe not as familiar with the really deep-level reporting:

Rookies who hope to be drafted go to the Scouting Combine. This is a several-day process where these guys are measured to the 1/4" of height, .01 of a second running a 40-yard dash, 1/2" in vertical leap, etc. There's also an intelligence test called the Wonderlic that everyone is supposed to take. It's 50 questions in 15 minutes so nobody is expected to actually ace the thing, but it's a source of stress for a lot of the players. The results are allegedly "private" but they always leak out to the press.

When Tebow entered the league, he requested that he be allowed to say a prayer aloud for everyone in his group before taking the test. The story is that when he did so, at least three players in the room with him told him to just shut the gently caress up because they were so sick of his shtick.

No one really had a problem with Tebow being a Christian. 99% of post-game interviews are just people thanking Jesus for giving them the strength to win. People hated Tebow because he's a terrible football player.

And he turned prayer itself into an end zone dance. I honestly don't see the appeal for sincere Christians. But I guess there are about 30 of those in America.

Thing is, Tim is a genuinely nice if completely naive and sheltered guy (home schooled by fundies). He was a fantastic athlete in college and without a doubt the best football player for about two years in BCS football (college) winning the Heisman trophy (award given out to the best football player in the country). He hit the Jesus notes hard, but he was programmed to do so. He was never hateful (that I saw), and tried to be positive with his religion. It was a little tedious but not horrible. Problem was the college football game is a lot different from the pro-football game because in college you can get by on being a fantastic athlete if the scheme the team runs is tailored to it. In pro football everyone is a fantastic athlete and Tim didn't have the necessary skills or knowledge how to run a pro offense so when he went to the NFL (and was drafted in the first round, which should have never happened) expectations among his legions of fans were that he was going to dominate because hey, he'd always dominated. Unfortunately for him that turned out not to be the case and he bombed pretty badly, bounced around the league for three or four years from team to team, dragging a media circus behind him everywhere he went and finally couldn't find anyone to sign him. For people who like and know about football its obvious that this was because of his skill set and not because of his religion, hell more than half the league including coaches and players is probably just as religious as Tim (if less demonstrative) and hardcore Christian athletes succeed constantly in the NFL, but to his devoted fans, who are Tim Tebow fans and not really football fans it was an obvious betrayal by the liberal media who kept hounding him (to be fair, they did) until he was driven from the league for his beliefs. He's now a football analyst for the SEC network I think and from all accounts he's pretty good at it so good on him.

Heterosexuals are the new racists.

Remember back in the days when the really cool people felt it was necessary to prove they had some connection with blacks?

They claimed to have black friends, or their daughter had a black boyfriend, or they were planning a trip to Africa to adopt a black baby.

We have now entered an era where people will be bragging that they have solid connections with the queer world.
The will claim to have good friends who are queer, or their brother or uncle is a queer, or that they themselves have had a homo affair in the past or want to have one in the future.

It will be the cool thing.

Anyone who isn’t queer, doesn’t have queer friends or doesn’t have a good yarn to spin about their latent homosexuality will be looked down on as more or less a Neanderthal.

People will be flooding the queer bars, queer bathhouses and queer bookstores just to rub elbows with queers and demonstrate they are progressives and part of the really cool people.

It will become almost impossible to get a good job, get hired by a government agency, get admitted to a top college, or find success as a sports figure or entertainer unless you can demonstrate that you are queer.

I agree. I would mind it being “trendy” if, like most trends, the sensible people were allowed to express their distaste for the trend, without being labeled “bigots” and “homophobes” and putting their jobs, businesses, and freedom at risk.

In 20 years, anyone who chooses to only have heterosexual sex will be considered a “bigot”, at least in the Democrat states. It will be considered worse than a white person who would never date other ethnic groups.

Of course, homosexuals will not be held to the same standard. Just like blacks and latinos, etc. can refuse to date anyone outside those ethnic groups, without being labeled “racist” (and they absolutely be able to decide their own preferences without being criticized.), men and women who only date and have sex with the same gender will NOT be considered “bigots” or “heterophobes).

Heterosexuality will soon be a “hate crime”.

That’s a good counter as well -
“I assert that Obama hates me far more because of my skin color than I do him.”

Translation: I hate blacks lots more since Obama's been in office, but that's all his fault!

I’ll go against the grain here and AGREE with this premise. But only to the extent that Obama, Holder, and the White Hut Regime has made race a key part of their agenda.

Has Obama set back race relations? Is he directly responsible (along with the presstitures) for kicking up anti-black sentiments?

Absolutely.

Let's cap it off with a little bit of race panic:

"That makes these people nervous," Parker says. "They feel that they're losing this America that they've known."

While many people will tap dance around this issue. Why wouldn't we be nervous about giving up the most successful nation and civilization the world has ever known to a bunch of invaders and white haters? You can take your one way race rhetoric and cram it up your rear end.

It's funny that he's trying to smear it as "clueless women who don't really get football," because that's like the number 1 demographic the NFL is pursuing. Of course, I'm sure the NFL's breast cancer awareness uniforms also set Freep off really good.

I'm from Oregon and my aunt has baked up a bunch of it for every Thanksgiving and other major holiday I can remember. My grandmother was originally from NJ so maybe she brought it with her, but mac and cheese at thanksgiving is completely normal to me.

I'm guessing they assume the Kraft stuff, not real mac and cheese.

It doesn't matter what they assume, it could have been Turkey itself and they would dispute it because they're barely literate racist retards.

No one really had a problem with Tebow being a Christian. 99% of post-game interviews are just people thanking Jesus for giving them the strength to win. People hated Tebow because he's a terrible football player.

It's like being gay, it's their own fault for chosing to be female. If you don't want to be born a woman, then nature will shut that vagina down. Just ask a scientition.

We will see real, visceral racism (from the "tolerant" left, of course) when someone like Ben Carson or Allen West is elected. The left will come completely unglued when that happens.

Considering Sam is a defensive lineman I doubt it.
A lot of people are making this mistake simply because they can't imagine a gay person that isn't a prancing sissy. If he was white they'd probably assume he was a kicker. Sam might not be good enough to make a starting roster in the NFL but by normal standards he's an absolute beast and I guarantee he could run down and rag doll every single freeper in existence, possibly two at a time.

To be fair there were people that hated Tebow simply because he was an in your face Christian, just not any of the coaching staffs that got rid of him. The difference being that when Tebow would win the media was fine and dandy with him being the QB, but pointed out that he creates a media circus. Once he didn't have the best team in the league around him to catch his floaters and keep the game close so he could have one amazing drive to "win" the game, the media "turned on him" by pointing out that he's a subpar NFL quarterback and that he creates a media circus.

For a good chuckle look up "longest sack ever" on YouTube and see how well his skills transferred to the NFL.
