At least we killed inglis from the kickoff.

E: bit harsh to put simona on report, not much he could do about that one. Hope he doesn't get suspended.

He took out a marketing symbol - he'll get 6 weeks.

Martin Lang used to have that problem as well. Even his Wiki page mentions he's been knocked out 10 times. Then again, the way he ran, he was practically inviting people to belt him

Well it seems they might have reported wrong. The way his spine currently is he could be a quadriplegic but is being flown to Sydney to see spinal specialists to see if they can operate to improve his chances of not being one.

They way the reported it on MMM was that he's a quadriplegic in that all 4 limbs are affected - he may only have a small percentage loss of movement in arms not a total loss, which is hopefully what they can rehabilitate at the spinal unit at the hospital in Sydney.

They were talking up Nathan Brown on the radio the other day.

There's a difference between being intentionally punched out and having a loose enough carry so that the ball comes out when hit as part of a normal tackle. As usual whether that's the case is subjective but there's certainly a case that it was just jarred loose as part of a normal tackle. Anywhere else on the field that would have been called a knock on, so I don't think they erred considerably.

The part that confused me was that they judged it a knock on in goal, because I remember the refs gave a 20 meter restart. The ball came loose (regardless of how it happened) in the field of play, so I assumed that play would have restarted from that point (or the 10)

I like the Bulldogs and I kinda sorta think Souths are ok I guess

but the game will be a good game, I'm excited for it. I was dreading Penriff winning last week because a 50-0 smashing isn't fun to watch.

It didn't matter who won between Penriff and the Dogs last week because Souths are probably going to post a 40 burger anyway, regardless of who they were playing.
