This is from a bit back, but they probably mean salt depletion.

Mind you, I can't figure out what "LP"'s supposed to stand for.

Typically stands for "Let's Play," involving videos of someone playing a game with or without commentary.

Finally caught up to the thread, and wanted to point something out.

As someone who gamed with John Wick extensively a long time ago, there's a link between him and another review in this thread.

Remember the "Villain Point" story, and his creepy phrasing about "Annie?" Yeah, that's the same Annie that wrote the short form game about alien negotiations which I will be buggered if I search the thread for anymore.

That out of the way, are we going to be seeing anymore Skins for the Skinless?

Suddenly they get pissed, since apparently they had paid for WotC's full stock, but a certain amount they had paid for had apparently... gone missing. "So that's where it went!" Feeling justifiably uncomfortable, he made his exit.

If true drat is that unprofessional. Wish more companies would treat conventions as trade shows. I know its ridiculous to bitch about unprofessionalism in the hobby but drat.

Personally I'm fine with tabletop-as-people-trapped/voluntarily-immersed-in-MMO. It's a game, and it conveniently shuts down 99% of "why can't I do X?"

I'm glad games like Log Horizon exist for whenever I'm at my local nerdery and someone hauls out the old "It's tabletop WOW" chestnut.

I love how geeks get angry whenever the hobby might attract new blood.

No, this is an artifact.

Shouldn't that be a ridiculous looking glaive, not a shield?

On a side note, has anyone suggested Unknown Armies for a podcast yet? It's one of my all-time fav occult horror RPGs, but it's definitely showing its age (Ex. An entire magic school rendered irrelevant by Netflix). There's a new edition supposed to come out this year, so this may be the perfect time to review the old one (I recommend the 2002 edition).

What school is made irrelevant by Netflix?

I feel like the sort of person who would become a videomancer would not be capable of doing that.

Which is pretty much the point of all the adept disciplines.

I can just imagine being a Law and Ordomancer, Somewhere inbetween ion, TNT, and USA you might be able to fit in about 30 minutes to eat, poo poo, and sleep.

The Rerun part never seemed to make sense in the philosophy of the Videomancer. The whole point is, as someone pointed out upthread, that people who are hundreds if not thousands of miles apart are sharing an experience broadcast from a place that could be thousands of miles away from them both.

Reruns are reruns.

Then again, as is with all adept schools of thought and getting your head around them, the difference is I am not legitimately bugfuck crazy.
