The part I think this thread will really enjoy comes at about 2:15. Granted that the game seems to be weird towards genders (no female giants, because reasons) but it looks to be a 3D Modeling Program, shoved into a character creator.

This is pretty interesting. Most of those facial options are already in a lot of in-game character creators, but none of them have those options as well-presented as in that vid. Might bring a few more people to use it. Also:

Food accessories or not I'm surprised that there are 'fatty fat' dress up games that don't involve constant tears running down the face or horrific crumbs down the doll's blouse because everyone knows she still shoves so much food in that gaping maw it just kinda spills out. Or hideous varicose veins. Or animated flab a-flappin' in the wind. The clothes aren't fabulous (nothing compares to that Ru Paul game) but they're not clearly trying to wear clothes that don't fit, stolen from the stick-insect girls or otherwise.

Now where's my fat carton baby dress up set?

According to Shukterhouse Jive on Youtube, the music is "Romania Soared Up" by "One Hundred", but Google is not producing anything that would back that up or give any more information.

This is why I like the show Drop Dead Diva despite it being pretty schlocky "chick" stuff overall. It's just so nice to see a larger woman portrayed as just a person (not till around season 2-3 though sadly). Plus Margaret Cho.

Something Ace Attorney has always done well is presenting both men and women of all sorts of shapes, ages, and sizes.

For your example of a larger woman, the most recent game has Norma DePlume who is an influential non-fiction writer. I don't want to spoil anything for those who haven't played it, but while there are a couple cracks on her size, she's presented as an actual, powerful person.

The size ratios threw me. Baby's head is bigger than mother's torso. Candy vendor is a poorly-disguised extraterrestrial. I mean, it's possible that all the characters are drawn in radically different styles because they were "borrowed" from other projects-- but that would be unethical. I'm afraid it's all body horror, all the time in the land of not-Baby not-Hazel.

DePlume is one of my favourite characters from the new game, to be honest, but then I'm a sucker for an unapologetically powerful female character. Actually, the three other fat women I can think of in that series (Sister Bikini from the third game, Plum Kitaki from the fourth and Delicy Scones from the second Investigations game, which didn't get released overseas) are all intelligent and powerful women. It does play their weight for laughs, but they don't tend to be too one-note. The overweight male characters in Ace Attorney, on the other hand ... but this is a thread about Girl Games.

On a completely different note, I did watch Winx as a kid. From memory it was a bit like Harry Potter if you replaced wizards with fairies and gave everyone really terrible punny names relating to their power. It wasn't too bad, as far as shows centered around a bunch of high-school-age girls go, but the outfits weren't much better than the ones in that game.

Girl Games: setting a new standard in disappointment every day.

Girl you like them plants?
Let's Play Disney City Girl

I met so many great friends in college...
After graduation, they all moved to the big city
I love it here, but my dreams are too big for this small town!
I'm off to the glitz and glam of New York to meet up with my friends.
If I can make it here, I can make it anywhere!

With that we move into this lovely apartment and meet Jenna, our best friend.

I'm so glad you made it to the city! Life just hasn't been as FABULOUS without YOU!
I found you the CUTEST little apartment. It's not much, but it's yours! A new place for a new you in New York City!
First things first, though. I want to see your latest look!

My New Look

In this video you can see me making a character. The number up the top left is how many style points each item gives, and the highlighted icons tell you what those items give points in: Either clothing, social, business, sports or mystery. All the accessories do nothing except make you look FABULOUS! I chose business casual for both shirt, shoes and pants because business casual is the best casual.

That's the stunner I knew from college!
Life in New York can be complicated, but your friends are never far! If you're ever unsure what to do next, just check in with us!
I'll always be there to help you make the most of your life!

So Jenna gives us our first quest.
The nice thing about New York is you can get ANYTHING you want, and you definitely need furniture. Time to decorate!

So we have to pick a couch from the store and put it in our apartment. Sounds easy...
I'm going to pick the cheapest one, because I am frugal with money. This is New York, after all.

Here you can see the excellent place I put my new couch, and also my needs. From left to right there is social, happiness, food, cleaniness, and tiredness. I need some sleep.

Let us Relax on the couch. The icon shows what stat is increased. Some objects increase multiple stats, but not this one.

Now that you're rested, let's have some fun... by playing video games shopping, of course!
There is a GREAT boutique just around the courner. You live virtually next door to Tempo! Let's get you there, pronto!

So here we are in Tempo. Tempo sells stylish clothes that specialise in social and excercise. This store sucks because I want business casual!
Gold is Real Money Purchases, as is Gems, though you can earn gems in game, just not very quickly. So let's get the highest fashion clothes we can that actually cost coins.

I bought these yellow pants because they gave exercise and are stylish!

Hey, look who's late... but here!

Here we meet Olivia, who is magical, and can get us any job we want!
I lost track of time at work! You know how it is. Did Jenna show you around? Wait, let me guess: she took you shopping, and now you're broke.
That I can fix. With a few phone calls, I can get you started in your dream career!

We can change career at any time too, with no penalty. I wish I had a friend like this!

So what job will it be thread? You decide!
