Some background on the Wheels Ontario episode - the girl who plays Tunes has an identical twin sister in France who was separated from her and didn't know she existed until friends saw a movie with her and thought they looked really alike. They did some research and they're making/made a movie about their reunion. Not sure if both parts were played by one of them or if they had her sister play Tunes' twin.

Good episode, love Pitbull so yet another Kroll character I'm digging.

E: more info here which I probably should've read before going by memory http://www.dailymail.co.uk/news/article-2557107/Twin-sisters-separated-birth-DNA-test.html

Also I like this tweet from nick kroll to the sister back about a year ago, which makes me think it probably was Anais playing the role not Samantha https://twitter.com/anaisfbordier/status/410894236746137601

E2: ah nick tweeted that there was legal problems in casting Anais, a shame but still a fun way to include real life in the sketch.

This is awesome, and makes that twist even better.

That final music number in this last episode was transcendent, especially with the cold open bit to introduce the Pitbull guy.

WHO ABUSED HIM. WHO ABUSED THE BOY.
This was probably my favorite episode this season, which hasn't reached the dizzying apex of character-based perfection that S2 did. That being said, I'm disappointed that Kroll didn't come up with SENOR FEETURE earlier on in the series, and that his number of appearances will be minimal.

John Daly had some diamond moments here, too. Gene Creemers is always on point, but my favorite single moment was that insanely funny weird aside the camera was fortunate enough to catch where he reacts approvingly to Bobby's seduction of Farley, right after he describes his facial hair as "shrubbery". I rewound that and cackled no less than 10 times

That was really underwhelming for a finale. Still laughed, but it didn't feel like a richly woven tapestry. I wanted less PubLIZity and more everyone else. I couldn't even make out what the birds were saying! C'mon guys. :sigh:

S3 was good but S2 was a complete masterpiece. It's probably good that they had such a short run.

I only have Hulu+ so I'm a few weeks behind due to their posting schedule but I'd agree with the statement that Season 2 was a masterpiece.

It makes sense as a trilogy anyway. You're introduced to the characters in season 1, season 2 is all the action, season 3 is the conclusion. A big part of it too is that we know the characters now, a lot of the jokes don't have the surprise or kick that they once did. That's why having Fabrice Fabrice was such a treat. That was pretty great, I'll echo that I didn't necessarily need to see all that PubLIZity (also, Dead Girl Town seemed kind of underdeveloped), but overall it was decent. Dr. Armond getting the show in the afterlife was pitch-perfect, glad there was some more Rich Dicks. Being the end of the season, I was sort of hoping for another thing in the vein of The Adventures of Young Billy Joel or Larry Byrd, oh well.
