I'm not a fan of the talking-head segments. Hate that now there are more of them. Even though they're usually funny they really disrupt the show for me. I can't wait to see what Dad Academy devolves into next. I watched all of the VH1 trash reality shows so all of these spin-offs are amazing.

obliviums posted:Publizity should be preceded with a trigger warning for all ex-advertisers. Only adding a flamboyant gay man to their crew would complete a fully realized vision of young American advertising/PR people. It's disgusting realistic and a testament to Kroll's dedication to realistic characters driving his humor. He's currently making the best argument against reality tv and culture in general. I love this show if only because it makes me feel like someone sat and watched all of the same shows as me, and loved them for the same reasons. I know they were awful, but they were so addictive. You'd show someone one episode, then a week later they'd have already watched them all.

Tokelau All Star posted:This show is loving brilliant. Whoever does the graphics design deserves some serious awards. Not to mention whoever does the sound/sound effects. The sounds going off during 'Signing Bonus' being a perfect example.

what's the deal with the music video animal masks or whatever? I know I've seen them somewhere before but I can't place it. Young Larry Bird was great. All I wanted was a close up of his shoes/jump during the shoot-off, and the show delivered! Cassandra's reality show was hilarious, but I've never seen a TV show cancelled at a more appropriate/perfect time.

escape artist posted:I love the little insane universe they've created. EL BROMANCE posted:Yeah, *every* time I see a Chikk Klub wrapper I laugh. There was one on the Cassandra reality show this week, they get them everywhere. That's what makes the show work so well, the constant evolution of reality show spinoffs, seeing C-Czar's / Liz & Liz's names come up as producers etc. As individual skits they're 'ok' to 'good', but as an entire entity it's just great. This. Kroll Show is probably my favorite show on TV right now, yet I couldn't even begin to explain why. There are so many different things I love about this show.

Oh god I'd have to watch Millionaire Matchmaker with several of my exes so I absolutely loved the girl hosting the whole Losers Bracket sketch.

EL BROMANCE posted:Watch 'Marry Me' on NBC! Nobody else is, so it's going to get cancelled I dunno man, I'd always rather a show feel it ended a season too early than too late. As much as I love this show, having done stand-up and comedy writing I wouldn't envy the task of writing another season of this show without letting standards slip. I couldn't do it, and I'm not sure anybody could. vv

Yeah there's nothing wrong at all with Season 3, and I never expect a series finale to be a great episode anyway. Season 2 was a masterpiece this season was never going to be as good.
