Then the royal treasury will pay to keep the people fed. Very well. You have nothing more to learn about Accounting. You have nothing more to learn about Production. My lady, there are letters for you. (Another letter from Briony. Why does she keep writing me? We were never even friends.) (She says she's bored and lonely and she's looking forward to seeing me at Gwenelle's birthday party.) (That's right! Gwenelle is about to turn fifteen! She'll be Duchess of Sudbury for real now.) (This other letter must be my invitation to her birthday celebration next week. Gwenelle and I were friends at school, and this will be a big event, but it's also a long way to travel. A lot of things can happen on the road.) You remember dreaming about a road through a dark forest, surrounded by monsters like the keythong your father told you about. Of course, the Old Forest is nowhere near Sudbury. (I'd better stay here.) Production and accounting are already maxed out, so I'm going to go with the runners up. *sigh* (All of my friends are at Gwenelle's party and I don't get to go.) (I sent Gwenelle a letter saying that I couldn't come, but it was her mother the Countess who replied. I think she's insulted that I didn't consider the event important enough to attend.) You visit the royal treasury and check your available funds. You have seven thousand, two hundred and twenty-eight gold lassi and forty-three silver tilassi. This is officially the furthest we've made it so far. Since we don't know what lies beyond this point, we are again going to be going just one week at a time. Vote for 2 classes. Don't forget to write poetry about the tux!

Flattery to open up conversation stats to 50+, Divination to max it out. Tux, Tux, you're the bes'. Your usefulness statistically is waning, but you look great, I guess. Penakoto fucked around with this message at 22:10 on Mar 29, 2014 |

Double Flattery. Roses are red Violets are blue I like my tuxedo That much is true. Violets are blue Roses are red I'll wear my tuxedo Even to bed. I'm terribly sorry, but English is not my first language so I can't write poetry in English worth a drat.

Max Divination. If there's a level 100 skill check, the game won't care whether Elodie's at 99 or 0. Then, train Composure. It's already pretty high, and our current mood gives a bonus to its category, so it'll be the most efficient (and economical!) use of our time.

Reflexes, to survive further assassination attempts, and Divination, to finish up the category and to pass any 100 value skill checks the game throws at us. Tux is wonderful Makes us more intelligent We are stylish now Happy Blue fucked around with this message at 22:36 on Mar 29, 2014 |

I was going to write in iambic pentameter on the necessity of opening trade deals with neighboring countries, but it was much harder than it seemed at the outset. So just go with 2x flattery.

So had we gone to the part, we'd have somehow ended up devoured by horrible monsters subsequently(well, unless magic or swords factored into it). Sounds like a blast! O Tuxedo, Tuxedo! Wherefort art thou Tuxedo? Deny thy weapon skills and refuse thy Priestess Robe Or, if thou wilt not, be but sworn my outfit And I'll no longer be an accountant. I'm sure I butchered that but we never did take classic literature over here anyway. 2x Conversation if that works.

Reflexes and divination seems pretty good at the moment. Since we've all different poem types, I guess I'll go with a sonnet (English/Shakespearean, not Italian/Petrarchan) "Ode to the Fabutux" The finest fabrics thou art woven from, Each stitch precise, to ensure quality. A splendid thing indeed, the perfect sum Of wealth and class, deliberate beauty. Befitting of the finest Dame or Lord, Thy price is not that of the common purse. True knowledge must one have, thee to afford, Lest they be met with debt, the cruel, cold curse. But overcoming that, I slip thee on; Sheer silk, fine satin, tailored to my fit. With confidence I leave my room at dawn, Upon my throne with elegance to sit. And, honestly, I must admit, I scoff At any who would bid me take thee off.

OK this should be right up my alley Gather round gather round. You might have heard of the emperor and his robe. But probably not about the princess and her tux. Elodie was a beautiful lass She loved to feel the grass She loved to sing and dance And to practice she never missed a chance The beautiful princess used to laugh Sometimes even for an hour and a half She loved her family, friends and kingdom Her skill with the numbers was quite fearsome Of fashion she knew many a thing Priestly robes, cute dresses and rings But she knew she wouldn't be in a crux Just as long as she kept using her tux Dance and alguh and sing my queen Do it on the fields of green Lead your kingdom to an era of peace And please stay away from the geese

Flattery and Court Manners. We do appear to have a weakness when it comes to things outside of economics and chatting, if anyone stronger and richer than us shows up, we'd have to capitulate to them.

You have unlocked a new outfit! You have nothing more to learn about Divination. The Duchess of Lillah has sent you a gift. What's this? It's a cushion, finely embroidered with the design of a running horse. It's well done, and clearly required hours and hours of needlework, but it's also fairly useless. That's nice... I guess. It's from the Duchess Arisse of Lillah. Hmm. Vote for 2 classes. MegaZeroX fucked around with this message at 21:11 on Mar 30, 2014 |
