So each facility gets to set their schedule huh?

Sounds like some are still hanging on to the 5/5 and some are creeping to 5/2.

Anybody still running 5/10?

I also think air traffic will rebound faster than anyone anticipates... No way it takes 5 years to rebound like some have suggested.

I'm off starting today, but yesterday was pretty loving busy, presumably for the holiday weekend. 4th of July is gonna spread some rona like crazy.

They were talking about how lovely it was today and none of them even hit 5 hours. I'd say 5+ hours was pretty standard during the before times with 6+ hour days not being all that uncommon. Gotta get rid of those 5 day weekends so you only have to plug in for 2 hours!

lol this sounds a lot like the drug addict CPC at ZJX who LIVED at the facility for MONTHS before the right person found out (it was an open secret, people didn't care as long as he made his shift on time and was sober). ZJX has, and had, some real special situations. And honestly? This isn't close to the most absurd.

I’ve genuinely not minded it here as a supervisor but I’m glad to finally be getting home. I definitely took the correct path since we haven’t released a controller in like 3 years. Everyone is applying to sup jobs now. I’m also getting out at a good time because staffing on the supervisor end has suddenly gotten lovely on top of a few other things.
